In March, we drove to Pensacola with some friends to go to the Renaissance Festival. It wasn't quite what we were expecting, but we still had a great time. I had no idea the level of devotion some people have to this time period- it was pretty clear that there are some real die-hards! The boys begged us to buy them real swords, but we bought them a ride on an elephant instead.
